George Panagos - Executive Producer

UnderwaterTV.com is the brainchild of George Panagos. Geroge is a Kentucky native who settle in Colorado. He has been scuba diving for many years, and has a keen interest in wildlife conservation.

Previous to Underwater Discoveries, George worked as an independent producer and cameraperson in field production for CNN, ESPN, E! and Hard Copy.

From 1992-1993 he ran the Cable Television Station in Doha, Qatar (Middle East) and Produced TV advertisements and promotional programs for the Qatar Royal Family.

From 1995-Present he has worked as an Independent Producer, a Live Event Director, and recently produced "The Healing Truth" documentary. George is currently the Executive Producer for "Underwater Discoveries"

His education includes a B.S Degree in Communications from Murray State University (1988) and a B.A. Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Colorado State University (1992).


Luke Inman - Presenter

Luke originally comes from London, since leaving The University of the West of England, Bristol. Since then, Luke has only worked in the Dive Industry, be it recreational, commercial, or media.

Luke is a PADI Course Director, making him one of the youngest Instructor Trainers in the World. He is an avid Rebreather Diver and cameraman. He also holds instructor and instructor trainer qualifications with ANDI International and Technical Divers International.

He holds the HSE Commercial Diving Part III, Inshore commercial license. Using this qualification, Luke has worked for various commercial survey companies throughout the World, including he Ras Mohammed Marine Park.

For a few years Luke worked as an independent Camera and Safety Assistant on various production Units from Mike valentine BSC, Smith Jones Brown & Cassie, Action Underwater Studios, Eon, Castle Rock Pictures, Working Title, The BBC & Lucas Films & "Bollywood." This work varied from Clapper loading, focus pulling, stunt doubling, shooting "making of footage" on tape.

"I have always taken an interest in studying and protecting the ecology of the sea, but I feel my greatest responsibility is imparting this sense of conservation to those I teach. Especially those who will teach others."


Mariana Villar - Presenter

Mariana is a Mexican native; she grew up on a ranch in Northern Mexico and represented Mexico in international horse jumping competitions. She has a strong sense of conservation and duty to the Ocean. While studying at the University of La Paz, Mariana was the highest placed and most decorated student the University ever had.

Mariana's education includes A Degree in Marine Biology from La Paz University, BCS, Mexico (2002). She is also a PADI Divemaster. She is active in projects to save "The Sea of Cortez."

"Through the years of living in La Paz, I am reminded more and more of how important the sea is and also how exciting and interesting it can be, and how much we really don't know about the world below. I am ready to spend my life here and try to share and learn as much as I can with the rest of the world, about what the sea and the underwater world are really about."
