Underwater Video Production Instruction

Within the last two years underwater video has become more and more popular for both the professional and hobbyist alike. UDTV will meet this demand by offering the only comprehensive underwater video school in the world.

The UDTV staff is very unique in the qualifications of the professional involved in teaching in the classroom as well as pool and open water training.

We have 15 year veterans from the TV and Documentary field, Technical Divers, Course Instructors, and Marine Biologists on staff. Whatever the advanced certification you wish to attain before or after the school, our resort partners will be more than happy to take care of that need. We also have all rental equipment available for anyone who needs it.

What UDTV School will provide for you:

1. UDTV will offer classroom style seminars in the basics of film and video production
2. Pool and open water work to teach advance techniques and shooting styles
3. Through our resort partners, we will offer nitrox, rebreathers, and advanced certifications as well.
4. Included in the course will be environmental awareness, a session in utilizing your surroundings, and a basic understanding of marine life and fish ID.
5. UDTV will also teach post production and computer based editing skills

When a student graduates from the UDTV school, they will have a basic understanding of video production theory, have a greater appreciation of their underwater surroundings, they will have learned advanced diving techniques to improve their shooting, and will be able to edit on a computer to produce a promotional, documentary, and or music video. The level of intensity of each element of the course will depend on the length of the class. UDTV School offers 5 or 10 day classes.

UDTV will also have Cameras, Housings, and Computers for rent on-site, prices vary depending on rig set-up.

UDTV School is not only for the professional. We encourage beginning videographers to embrace their new found joy with a passion that will improve every aspect of their underwater video productions. Minimum class size is two students, with a maximum of six.
